Set against the backdrop of present day Paris, Pinned is a contemporary queer love story that blends French and English (including surtitles for both) with live cello, creating a dialogue for modern love.
Claire, an academic from New Zealand finishing her anthropology masters in Paris, meets Léo, a disillusioned Parisian cellist caught in the slipstream of her own life. The two women form a bond that challenges them both to confront who they are and what they want from their futures. Pinned challenges our preconceptions about what it means to love someone and what it means to allow ourselves to be undone by someone else.
