Sobre l'esdeveniment
Get into the Christmas spirit with carols and other festive choral music in a church full of candles at Voxcetera's popular annual Christmas concert. You'll hear classic and new arrangements of traditional tunes such as Ding Dong Merrily on High, Away in a Manger, Angels from the Realms of Glory and In the Bleak Midwinter, as well as sublime new festive choral music from composers including Eric Whitacre, and perhaps a little festive schmaltz too. You'll also have the opportunity to raise the roof by joining in with favourite carols.
Voxcetera will be joined by harpist Olivia Jageurs and pianist and organist Martyn Noble, with readings from writer, broadcaster, actor and award-winning podcaster Gyles Brandreth. A bar will be open from 7pm selling wine, champagne and mince pies.
