Ceitidh Mac (pronounced "Katie", spelled the Gaelic way - think ceilidh with a T) is a Welsh-born, Tyneside-based alternative cellist/singer whose sound is original, absorbing & full of soul.
Folk in her subtle observations of people & politics, jazz in her attention to groove & not sticking to the rules of songwriting. Ceitidh Mac makes cello/singing feel like its own genre.
