London-based jazz guitarist and composer Jamie Pye brings a fresh and dynamic voice to today’s jazz scene. With roots in Australia and New Zealand, he has performed widely, from intimate residencies to leading his own bands, and in 2023 completed a national tour of New Zealand before releasing his debut album Monochrome on Good Twin Records. Inspired by great composers and bandleaders, Jamie crafts music that tells stories with honesty and depth, blending complexity and accessibility in equal measure.
